If you’re in the online marketing space, you’ve probably thought about and maybe even asked some others what’s the best email autoresponder. Well, there are a lot of options out there. I actually use Aweber for most of my digital marketing needs.
So why do I recommend Aweber?
If you’re like me, and you only have a few programs you promote like software or courses, Aweber is a great tool.
When choosing an email autoresponder, I look for a few things. Aweber has these.
As an online marketer, whether you’re in affiliate marketing, network marketing, or growing your own business online, these are the questions you should be asking yourself about the email autoresponder you want to use.
The first thing I look for in an autoresponder is how the deliverability is. Deliverability is where the emails you send are actually going. Do the emails even show up in the inbox? Is anyone going to see your emails?
Your open rate will vary based on a lot of factors but if your emails aren’t even being delivered to the inbox, you’re already a huge step behind.
The second thing I look at in an email autoresponder is automation. This is very important for anyone who wants to be able to free up some time in their workload and move them more in the direction of the freedom lifestyle they’re creating.
If you’re trying to grow your business online, you’re typically trying to make a passive income. In order for it to become somewhat passive then you’re not going to want to sit down and write a huge long email every single day. This is why you need automation.
Simply, a basic automation is where you send an email, wait a day, send an email, wait a day, which is typical for most autoresponders. You have the opportunity to create these automatic emails ahead of time.
You can trigger the series, or campaign, to start when someone subscribes to your list or when a specific tag is applied. You can split your list by applying different tags depending on what actions they do inside your emails. This can make the experience very personalized for your audience.
You can also send a broadcast email to your entire list, or a segment of your list. These are great if you have new information to share, a new promotion, or anything you want to share that’s relevant. These can be written and sent right away, or scheduled to go out on a specific day and time.
There are many other things you can do besides sending emails. You can have them subscribe to other sequences and move them to different lists on automation.
The third thing I look at is integrations. Integrations is the ability to link your email autoresponder to other automation tools. If you’re using the number one sales funnel software, ClickFunnels, there’s a simple button to click to integrate. You can also integrate with Google ads, WooCommerce, Shopify, and Zapier.
The fourth thing I look at is reporting. It’s important to have quick access to reports that include the open rate and click rate of emails. As a marketer, you should be looking at these regularly because it allows you to see what’s working and make changes quickly for ways to improve your emails.
You may need to improve your subject line to get more opens or improve the content in the email to get more clicks on your offer. The only way to know you need to make these changes is if you have good reports.
The fifth thing I look at is support. If I’m hung up on something and I need to reach out to support I want to know they’ll guide me to the answer. They have a great library of videos and posts which help a ton, especially when you’re just getting started. Their response time for answering questions, no matter how silly they are, is quick and painless.
Aweber is one of the best email autoreponders and it’s made my life so much easier in my business by saving a ton of time and helping my customers continue to feel supported.
